Tara Nussbaum is an Executive Vice President of R4CF. Since its establishment in 2016, she has led R4CF’s Investor Relations and Fund Management activities, raising more than $3.5 billion of institutional capital for investment in tax-exempt debt through direct placement and multi-investor fund offerings.

Tara has more than 20 years of affordable multifamily housing lending, investment, and capital markets experience. From 2009 through 2013, Tara served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director for MuniMae / MMA Financial, where she was responsible for capital markets activities for a $2 billion portfolio of tax-exempt mortgage revenue and infrastructure bonds. She has executed securitization facilities ranging in size from $5 million to $1 billion through major commercial and investment banks, mortgage bond insurers, and the GSEs. Tara has also served in the public sector as a Senior Development Officer with the City of San José Housing Department, where she was responsible for tax-exempt bond issuance, second mortgage loan origination, and second mortgage loan modification.

Tara holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University.
