Medilda Vargas is a Vice President of Treasury, Corporate, and Fund Accounting at R4 Capital, where she oversees all aspects of day-to-day business transactions for the firm’s $6.4 billion LIHTC investor equity portfolio. Her responsibilities include managing treasury functions at both corporate and fund levels and assisting the CFO with GAAP-compliant quarterly Corporate financial reporting. She has more than 10 years of experience managing the treasury for corporate, private equity, and LIHTC funds.

Before joining R4 Capital in 2017, Medilda served as Accounting Executive Assistant at EC General Construction in New York, where she managed accounting operations, daily business transactions, and treasury functions. Earlier in her career, she worked as an Accounting Assistant at Eltman Law, P.C., handling treasury responsibilities and the full spectrum of business transactions.

Medilda holds a BBA in Accounting and is CPA eligible, having completed 150 credits at Baruch College, City University of New York.
