Laura DeBellas is a Vice President, Senior Asset Manager for R4 Capital based in the firm’s Austin, Texas office. With over 20 years of affordable housing experience in various capacities and an array of knowledge and experience in HUD, LIHTC, CDBG-DR, HOME Multifamily, Housing Trust Fund, Tax Credit Assistance (TCAP) and Exchange Program, and Multifamily Housing Revenue Bond properties, Laura is responsible for the asset management of both construction and stabilized assets in R4 Capital Funding’s debt portfolio. Her work includes construction risk monitoring, reporting, and milestone deliveries, as well as construction loan disbursements, stabilizations, and long-term property asset management.
Prior to joining R4 in 2020, Laura worked with the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) as the Manager of the Asset Management Division and has also held senior consulting roles and worked in HUD’s Region 10 Field Office. Laura is a Seattle University Summa Cum Laude alumnus and began her career working to create and find permanent supportive housing placements for persons living with HIV/AIDS in the Seattle metro area.
