Kirstin Birdsall is a Vice President of R4 Capital based in the firm’s Boston, MA office. Kirstin oversees the Environmental Risk Management processes, including managing third-party consultants and advising R4’s Real Estate Underwriting, Asset Management, Fund Management, and executive teams on environmental risks over the life cycle of each property in our portfolio.

Prior to joining R4 Capital, Kirstin was a Project Manager at The Vertex Companies, Inc. offering forensic consulting, expert witness services, construction project advisory, and compliance and regulatory consulting to numerous markets and industries. There her role focused primarily on Environmental Claims Consulting. She completed cause and origin investigations, remediation oversight, and subsurface investigations. She prepared and reviewed technical reports, including Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.

Kirstin received a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, with a minor in Political Science from University of Massachusetts Amherst.
