Jason Shounick is a Vice President, Senior Asset Manager at R4 Capital based in Chicago, Illinois. He brings nearly eight years of experience in real estate and the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) industry with additional background in workforce housing, loan servicing, and distressed assets.

Prior to joining R4 in 2023, Jason worked for a LIHTC syndicator where he began as an intern and Real Estate Analyst assisting with more than 150 LIHTC and workforce housing investments. He advanced to Asset Manager to manage a diverse portfolio of 55 LIHTC investments in various stages of construction, rehabilitation, lease-up, or stabilization.

Jason is a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) and holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Iowa.
