Colton Sanders is Senior Vice President, Senior Asset Manager of R4 Capital based in the Austin, Texas office. Colton has nearly two decades of real estate finance experience and has worked in the LIHTC industry since 2008.  

Prior to joining R4 Capital in 2017, he worked for the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) in the Real Estate Analysis and Asset Management divisions. While at TDHCA, Colton was responsible for credit underwriting of LIHTC applications, asset management during the construction phase of 158 properties awarded funds from the TCAP and Exchange programs, and resolution of noncompliant assets which provided extensive experience with the lifecycle of LIHTC investments.  

Colton is a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) and earned his BA in Government and a MS in Community and Regional Planning from The University of Texas at Austin.
