Andy Lee is a Senior Vice President and Assistant Controller of the fund tax reporting team. Andy is primarily responsible for handling all aspects of tax reporting for R4’s LIHTC investor equity portfolio. He is also responsible for GAAP financial and tax reporting for multi-investor funds that invest in tax-exempt bonds. He has more than 20 years’ experience in managing private equity and LIHTC funds.
Prior to joining R4 Capital in 2021, Andy was a Fund Controller at a public real estate investment trust (Paramount Group Inc.), where he managed the accounting, operations and reporting process of private equity investment funds that invest over $1.5 billion of investments in equity, preferred equity, mortgages, and mezzanine debts. Previously, he served as Vice President and senior manager at a provider of real estate mortgage services for affordable and conventional multifamily housing (Centerline Capital Group) from 1998 to 2014. While there, Andy was responsible for report automations, quarterly and annual financial reporting for more than $10 billion of LIHTC investor equity in a portfolio of more than 1,400 housing properties nationwide.
