Award-winning Brewster’s Apartments is a shining example of modern affordable housing centrally located in the Mountain View neighborhood of Anchorage, Alaska. Creative design pays homage to the town’s history while effective architecture provides quality, attainable housing.
The elevator-serviced apartment complex includes 2 studio and 19 one-bedroom units within a single three-story structure. Five units are set aside for disabled occupants and are fully accessible for both sensory and mobility impairments.
Brewster’s Apartments was financed by R4 Capital using 4% Housing Credits and Solar Credits, as well as multiple soft loans facilitated through the Native American Housing and Self-Determination Act and multiple other local grants, specifically aimed at keeping high-risk families and children housed.
