Job Description: R4 Capital Funding (“R4CF”) seeks to hire a New York City-based Analyst to support its Originations team, which is responsible for the origination and pre-closing coordination efforts of its nationwide affordable multifamily housing lending business.
The Analyst will report to the Senior Vice President of Originations, while supporting the activities of various team members.
Core responsibilities will include:
- Technical proficiency of Microsoft excel for financial modeling to evaluate investment opportunities and support strategic decision-making
- Drafting lending proposals consistent with financial projections
- Collecting and reviewing due diligence materials relating to transaction closings
- Working closely with R4CF’s Risk Management Team to evaluate the feasibility of transactions
- Drafting investment presentations for internal and investor approval, which shall include analyzing and preparing written summaries of the development sponsor, financing pro forma, real estate, market, and construction risks
- Business development projects, travel and other analytical and administrative duties as needed
The desired candidate will have:
- A bachelor’s degree with coursework or prior work experience in finance, accounting, commercial real estate development, or a related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency and confidence working in the Microsoft suite.
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to clients.
- Desire to work collaboratively within a team setting.

Compensation will be commensurate with education and experience. R4CF considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, qualifications, and experience. The salary range for the Analyst position is $70,000 to $80,000 annually. In addition, all full-time employees are eligible for a discretionary bonus and to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and 401K matching, in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
