Stephanie Buchanan is a Senior Vice President of R4 Capital Funding based in the firm’s Boston office with a focus on originating and executing private placement tax-exempt and taxable debt for 4% tax credit projects. Since joining R4CF in 2018, she has originated and executed nearly $2 billion in private placement debt for more than 10,000 units across 20 states.

In her current role, Stephanie leads transaction origination efforts with affordable housing developers to originate and structure financings that support the creation and preservation of high-quality affordable rental housing throughout the United States. Stephanie has been with R4 Capital since 2016 where she previously worked as a Financial Analyst with the underwriting team and was responsible for analyzing risk associated with debt and equity multifamily housing investments throughout the country. Stephanie started her career as a marketing associate at a technology-driven health and wellness start-up where she focused on developing strategic content for various product lines.

Stephanie holds a BA degree in Economics from Union College.
